Social media holds more control over the online experience than ever before!

A recent article by eMarketer says, in the US, 58% of millennials and 50% of Gen Zers said social media is a significant source of information when it comes to online shopping.

Moreover, 35.9% of internet users are expected to make at least one purchase over social media and overall, US social commerce will reach $79.64B by 2025.

  • Brands should start mastering social media platforms to not only encourage shoppers but also facilitate a one-click purchase.
  • Brands can collect their Instagram feeds and UGC hashtags into a feed, tag products to the collected feed to make it shoppable, and publish the feed on websites.
  • Customers want to be able to log out in a step and purchase directly from social media. There should not be any discontinuity in the experience.
  • Livestreaming is a game-changing element. They help replicate in-store experiences, fuel positive online interactions, enable digital dialog and deliver personalized experiences at the heart of digital touchpoints.
