Just keeping social commerce is not enough. Brands need to gain proper knowledge and build strategies to implement it in business. Research says, 47% of internet users aged 16–64 are spending more time on social media. Brands need to effectively engage social media platforms to engage more audiences using Instagram shopping, Snapchat, and Facebook.

Here are six successful social commerce examples to follow:

  1. Nike pre-releases Air Jordan III on Snapchat: Nike teamed up with Shopify, Darkstore, and Snapchat to launch this new product. It delivered real results will all the stock sold within 23 minutes of launching.
  2. Eureka Streets adds Shoppable Instagram and UGC gallery: They have added their shoppable content and social galleries from their website.
  3. David Yurman drives direct sales with #TaptoShop: It’s a high-end jewelry brand with top profile clients, who ran a hashtag campaign with #TapToShop, and made the products shoppable directly through the app.
  4. Joe Jeans pre-launch hype through Instagram reminders: It was one of the first brands to demonstrate how Instagram’s Checkout can be combined with drop reminders. Those who had signed up received notifications 15 minutes before the launch ensuring they would be sold out immediately.
  5. Bolle allowed Instagram users to Try on AR sunglasses: Mobile users can activate AR view using a QR code within the brand’s marketing resources or through a dedicated link shared by Bolle on Instagram.
  6. MVMT watches on Pinterest: The brand utilizes the benefits of promoted pins. Pinned items draw in more clicks and lead shoppers to the checkout page for that product, permitting them to customize the watch and add it to the cart in just a few seconds.
